Military & Veterans

Grain Craft is a proud supporter of our military veterans and their families. We currently employ over 40 veterans from all branches of service.  We believe that hiring a veteran is an outstanding addition to our business and we value the in-depth training, technical and soft skills, dedication, leadership, discipline, and character that our veterans bring to the table.  Providing employment to the men and women who are currently serving or have served in our armed forces, along with their spouses, is how we choose to honor those who sacrificed so much for us.

Our Core Values serve as guide rails through our daily team member interaction and our business decisions. We have discovered that our values of Trusting People, Valuing People, Excellence, Safe People and Product and Community can also be found at the heart of many military experiences. Our common thread throughout our values is our People and they are the drivers of our success.  This includes our Veteran team members whose unique skill sets can be seen through determination, trust and confidence in their work.

We are proud members of:

  • The Baking Industry Alliance (BIA), a group that joined forces this year with the USO Pathfinder® program. The BIA recognizes the importance of engaging with military and veteran communities to help ease the transition from military careers to the civilian workforce.
  • SHRM ‘Veterans At Work‘ Certified – our entire Human Resources team proudly holds this certification, which demonstrates their commitment to attract, hire, and retain our talented military veterans.
  • LinkedIn’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership for active duty or Veteran spouses looking for employment.
