CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. February 6, 2025 — Grain Craft, the largest independent wheat flour miller in the nation, announced today that John Wiebold has joined the company asVP, Supply Chain. Wiebold was hired to oversee the functions of the transportation and logistics team and will report to Alan Koenig, Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Wiebold brings more than 25 years’ experience working in global supply chain roles including 21+ years at General Mills. He specializes in global commodities and risk management and has a variety of supply chain experience including direct material and indirect sourcing, contract manufacturing, grain elevator operations, grain merchandising, logistics and sustainability.
In this new position, Wiebold oversees the execution of the Grain Craft outbound logistics strategy, identifies and implements risk mitigation, leads non-commodity procurement, and drives continuation of supply to customers downstream. His focus is also on deploying efficiency standards — for both origination and destination mills — to achieve supply diversification that address a variety of customer demands.

Wiebold is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is an active supporter of Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. He was previously an executive board member at NAMA.
