Chattanooga, Tn. – March 30, 2021 – Grain Craft, the largest independent flour miller in the nation, is pleased to announce the promotion of Preston Powell as Director of National Accounts.
Powell joined Grain Craft in 2018 as Account Executive and has led new sales development throughout the Southeast region. In addition to excelling in management of Grain Craft accounts, he has developed new customer partnerships in a variety of bulk and bag sales areas. Powell has also worked closely with Information Systems to integrate new system efficiencies and analytics for sales use.
In his new role, Powell is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers. He will continue working with current and new accounts concerning bulk, bag and specialty flour products.

Powell began his career in 2013 as a Field Customer Specialist in the food industry. He developed various business management expertise and quickly ascended into a Business Development Manager position by 2017. Powell graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is located at the Grain Craft Overland Park, Kansas office and is actively involved in the American Society of Baking.
